Our mission is to save cats from kill shelters and homes who can no longer keep them. Our focus is senior cats and those who have special needs or are considered “hard to adopt”.

Our Story
We opened The Shabby Tabby Cat Cafe in 2018 by working with local rescues to help get cats homes. After 5 years, 1500 adoptions, and an incredible support system, we decided it was time to rescue on our own!

Our Cats
We will always rescue cats of all ages and types, but those who are overlooked are our specialty. We find joy in helping a sad, scared cat start their new lives and experience all the love the world has to offer.
BonBon came to us with an inner ear infection that was so bad, she ended up needing major surgery to remove her entire inner ear. She is happy in her forever home!
Geoff came to us terribly scared with horrible chronic eye infections that caused him to keep them closed most of the time. He ended up needing entropion surgery to fix his eyelids, which were flipped inward and causing pain and infection. He is a brand new man in his new home!
Coqueto was a kitten who was found with a severe eye infection which caused his eye to rupture. Sadly he needed the eye removed but he was so much happier without it and is doing great in his forever home!
